The Need for IoT Security Standardization and Certification

To celebrate Global IoT Day, we are organizing an online roundtable on “The need for IoT security standardization & certification” with the participation of leading SDOs, certification organizations and some of the premier partners of European IoT research.

As IoT security remains a key concern, we will discuss the need for harmonized IoT security standardization and its progress leading to a mandatory, at least Europe-wide, IoT security certification scheme, with major players shaping the IoT security landscape. Participants include standard developing and certification organisations, industry organisations, European research projects, and DG CNECT of the European Commission.

ASSURED project will participate with a presentation on the “Future Proofing the Connected World: ASSURING Trust in Next-Generation Systems-of-Systems”.
