ASSURED is participating to a series of Roundtables “ICT Verticals and Horizontals for Blockchain Standardization“, organized by DG Connect, to allow H2020 projects to present the work done and explore more active involvement into activities of blockchain standardization bodies.
Thematic discussions organized involve particular vertical and horizontal sectors including:
- Fintech, Digital Assets and Smart Grids
- Digital Society, Identity and Privacy
- Digital Economy, SMEs, Industry and Supply Chains
- Cybersecurity
- IoT
- eHealth
- Future Internet, Media and Big Data
ASSURED is focusing on enhancing the security posture of heterogeneous CPSoS, as part of emerging supply chains, without compromising their safety, by providing a formally verified runtime assurance framework based on the use of Blockchains and DLTs as the medium for secure data sharing.
As such, ASSURED contributes to the discussions, especially focusing on the thematic areas of Cybersecurity and Digital Economy and Supply Chains, sharing its vision on how to overcome open challenges revolving around certification mechanisms and advanced attestation services that are capable of reducing the complex attack surface of supply chains in (near) real-time.
